The Shops at Don Mills

The award winning Shops at Don Mills was completed in 2009 and is the first open-air shopping destination of its kind in Ontario.

Located in Toronto at the intersection of Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East, the Cadillac Fairview development represents a new evolution in retail.

Combining a unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience with new outdoor amenity and public space the development has successfully integrated new retail and residential space with the surrounding community.

Stage One had a construction budget of $85 million and a total area of 511,823 sq. ft. and included retail, restaurant and office spaces along with a 1,000 car parkade.

Stage Two encompassed the development of perimeter residential space in low and mid-rise buildings with underground parking, including the Reflections Residence, Liv Lofts and Flaire Condominium.

RJC also provided Structural Engineering services for the Shops at Don Mills Revitalization Improvement Project in 2017, which included upgrades to the streetscape, lighting, signage, wayfinding, creation of new mews, upgrading existing mews and creating new restaurant tenant spaces.
