Halifax Shopping Centre Redevelopment
This $70 million redevelopment project provides 75,000 sq. ft. of additional retail space at the existing Halifax Shopping Centre.
It involved converting a three-storey office building into a two-storey retail mall with new skylights and atrium spaces.
A new entrance on the west side of the property opens into an upgraded and relocated food court with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace, elevated seating and a patio.
A feature element of the expansion is a soaring 14,000 sq. ft. skylight.
