RJC Engineers were commissioned to work on several projects for the Jericho Tennis Club located along the water on Point Grey Road in Vancouver.

RJC provided structural engineering consulting services for the Club’s swimming pool replacement.

The new pool features a larger swim tank and additional deck space, with stunning views of Vancouver’s harbour.

In consideration of the challenging oceanside site, RJC designed a high retaining wall and an underground mechanical room.

All construction elements are designed to be resistant to seawater, storm surge and sea level rise.

Relief ports installed in the underground rooms and deep underground sumps, were tied down with rock anchors to resist hydrostatic uplift.
