This condominium building had been experiencing localized leakage around its window systems for several years, due to the existing sealants experiencing age related deterioration while the glazing units and their framing remained in fair condition.
This condominium building had been experiencing localized leakage around its window systems for several years, due to the existing sealants experiencing age related deterioration while the glazing units and their framing remained in fair condition.
The most cost effective solution for controlling water penetration for the Owner was to replace the sealants and keep the existing glazing systems in place, thus allowing the Condominium Corporation to accommodate the project cost and remain adequately funded without significant increases to the necessary contributions.
RJC helped the corporation form a capital expenditure planthat would allow them to make practical use of their reserve fund.
